I am excited to be a part of Mountie Nation and to be able to serve the Irondale community!

I taught English for 17 years before becoming an Administrator four years ago. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Secondary English Arts and have spent my entire career in Jefferson County. I see it as a privilege to teach and lead students in our district and I have a desire to help students become successful in whatever they choose to do after graduating from high school. 

My husband Scott and I have two children, Alanna and Aaron. I enjoy traveling in our camper (visiting National Parks/Historical Sites or just relaxing at our beautiful State Parks), serving at church and reading.
