Special Effects is an advanced art course and extracurricular activity for students who have successfully completed Art 1 and 2 and met application requirements.

Our students gain proficiency in special effects make-up design and application, mask making, prop making, and creature creation. Special Effects will provide maximum opportunities for creativity and innovative artistic output while in high school. Beyond the classroom, our students will be introduced to artists in residence and professional organizations. Special Effects is one out of only three high school FX classes in the entire country!
