Ms. Brown is beginning her thirteenth year in education as the MYP Coordinator for JCIB. She has previously served students P-12 as a music teacher. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Montevallo and Master’s Degree from the University of Alabama. She returned to UA for a certification in Instructional Leadership and is currently attending Arkansas State University for an EdS in Reading. Ms. Brown is passionate about the success of all learners, attending to both academic and social emotional needs.
