Ms. Vicki Jones

My name is Vicki Jones and I am the school counselor at Jefferson County Counseling and Learning Center (JCCLC). I have been the school counselor at JCCLC since 2020. I received my Bachelors degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham in psychology. After completing my Bachelors degree, I worked as a case manager, becoming a supervisor for the Department of Human Resources (DHR). I worked twelve years at DHR, in food stamps, child welfare, adult protective services, and back to child welfare as a supervisor. This experience made me decide to pursue a graduate degree in agency counseling. I graduated from Jacksonville State University with my Masters in Education with a major in agency counseling. I started working as a school counselor in 2005. Later I went back to school and received my Educational Specialist degree in Education with a major in agency counseling. I am excited about working with all of the students and families at JCCLC.
