My name is Brad Robertson. This is my tenth year as the principal of Bragg Middle School. I am a Jefferson County graduate from McAdory High School. After high school, I attended Faulkner University where I earned a B.S. in Business. I then enrolled at the University of Montevallo where I earned a B.S. in History and an M.Ed. in Secondary Instruction. Later I went back to school where I earned an M.A. and an Ed.S. from UAB in Instructional Leadership. I recently received my doctorate in Educational Leadership.
Prior to coming to Bragg, I served as a history teacher and coach at Gardendale High School. Later, I was appointed assistant principal at GHS for a few years, then served in the same role at McAdory High School.
I am married to Allison Robertson, a nurse at Brookwood Hospital. We have one daughter (Addi Jo) and two sons (Caleb and Silas). Outside of Bragg Middle School, you may find me at church, fishing, watching Alabama football, reading, gardening, or just spending time with my family.
I am a firm believer in the value of a quality education. It is my goal as principal to do all that I can to ensure students are safe and learning. I have truly enjoyed the opportunity I have been given to work with your children.
My door is always open if you have a question or concern. Please feel free to email me or call the school.
It's a Great Day to be a Rocket!!
