ALL Kids is affordable, high-quality, comprehensive health coverage for children under age 19. Our benefits administrator is Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. Annual premiums are either $52 or $104 per child (not to exceed $312 per family). ALL Kids, Medicaid, and the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace share a joint application, so if a child doesn’t qualify for ALL Kids, the application will automatically be sent to Medicaid or the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace. Detailed information and an option to apply online are available on the ALL Kids website:

For the 2022-2023 school year, parents will need to apply for free and reduced meals!
For the past two years, JEFCOED has been able to supply all students with free breakfast and lunch because of federal funding. However, the federal waiver has expired and school districts across the country are once again taking applications for free and reduced meals. Students qualify for the program based on their household income level.
If you are unsure of your family’s eligibility, we encourage you to apply!
If you are unable to apply online, please contact your school for a paper application.
