The School Counselor:
- Counsels students in groups and individually to help them reach their full potential by ensuring that each student is provided services to aid him/her in making wise personal, educational, and career decisions.
- Consults and collaborates with teachers, parents, and staff to enhance the effectiveness of helping students.
- Provides support to other high school educational programs.
- Although school guidance and counseling programs coordinate these services, the most effective means of delivery comes from a partnership of school, home, and community.
