Degrees and Certifications:
I have been the counselor at Minor Community School since 2007. It has been my privilege to work with you and your children.
Students have weekly or bi-weekly large guidance lessons on a variety of topics. School counselors teach preventative lessons in the areas of social emotional learning, academics and careers. I gather data from needs assessments completed by teachers and 4th and 5th grade students to help plan the guidance curriculum. Frequent topics are social skills, study skills, conflict resolution, identifying and understanding emotions, bullying, personal safety and career choice.
I also do individual counseling as needed and small group counseling.
