Our Library

  • All students visit the library once weekly as a class. Additionally, students in grades 4-5 visit the library on a flexible schedule to exchange and renew their reading materials daily. Students in grades K-1st grade are allowed to check out one book per week. Students in grades 2-5 are allowed to check out 2 books per week.

    If any library book is damaged or lost. The cost of replacement is $15.

    Technology: Students visit the school computer lab once a week for technology instruction. Visit our school symbaloo page to view some software and resources in which students are using to enhance their academic experience using technology.

    Book Fairs: Our school has a Fall and Spring book fair each school year. Books are provided through Scholastic Book Fairs. Please visit our school calendar to view dates and opportunities to volunteer. 

    STEM: Our students are involved in various STEM related activities in the Library throughout the school year. During the month of December, students in grades K-5  will participate in the "Hour of code" and using other coding software. Students will also have the opportunity to work using hands-on STEM centers (Maker Spaces) and Robotics provided through a grant from our very own Jefferson County Foundation.
