Our Library

  • Welcome to the McCalla Elementary School Library!

The McCalla Elementary School Library serves approximately 700 students in grades Pre-K through 5.  We have a small but growing collection of books and resources to meet the diverse needs of all our learners. Our collection includes materials for students and teachers including a Makerspace Cart filled with fun, educational activities available for classroom checkout.

If you have a suggestion you would like to see added to our collection, please fill out the Suggestions Form located in the Links section of our page.

Vision and Mission

  • The vision of the McCalla Elementary Library is to be the heart of the school where students and teachers come for all of their reading, information, and technology needs.

The mission of the McCalla Elementary Library is to encourage students to inquire and seek new knowledge, to include and respect diverse thinkers, to successfully collaborate with others, to explore through new experiences and personal reflections, and to cultivate a love for learning and reading that will create lifelong learners.
