Mrs. Monique Stewart

Welcome to Adamsville Elementary School!

I am extremely excited to be your Principal! I am a firm believer that EVERY child can learn with the hardwork and dedication from school leaders, teachers, and staff. It is my goal to provide a safe, engaging, and fun atmosphere for student learning. Prior to coming to AES, I was the Assistant Principal at Kermit-Johnson Elementary School, and prior to that I taught second grade for eight years at Chalkville Elementary School. I have been in education the past ten years. I am currently working on my Doctorate with a focus in Educational Leadership.

I am also a mother and a wife. I have two beautiful children, a four-year-old daughter and two-year old son. My husband and I have been married for seven years! I absolutely love Alabama football! Roll Tide!
