Bus Driver Information
Our district is currently experiencing a shortage of bus drivers. Often times, our Transportation Department utilizes other Jefferson County employees as well as substitute employees to assist when there is a need for bus route coverage. Any Jefferson County employee or substitute employee who picks up bus routes has completed their background check, fulfilled all requirements in order to drive a school bus, and has obtained a Commercial Driver License (CDL). Transporting your children safely to and from school is extremely important to us and we look forward to continuing to provide transportation services for our families. To learn more about our district’s Transportation Department and how to become a bus driver, please visit www.jefcoed.com/busdrivers.
