Superintendent Dr. Walter Gonsoulin stands at a podium and speaks during the Jefferson County Schools Mayors Luncheon.

A group of men and women are sitting around a table during a mayors luncheon with Jefferson County Schools. The woman in the front of the picture is taking a picture with her cell phone. Dr. Walter Gonsoulin hosted a Mayors' Luncheon, bringing together leaders from across the 22 municipalities we serve.

Dr. Gonsoulin shared the many opportunities JEFCOED offers, the strengths we're building on, and the challenges we're working hard to address. He emphasized the importance of staying connected, collaborating, and communicating openly so we can continue putting students first.

Strong communities make strong schools, and together we're building bright futures for every student in Jefferson County.

Thank you to all of the mayors who attended, and a special note of gratitude to our luncheon sponsors, Imagine Learning and Lathan McKee Architects, for supporting this important conversation.
