Welcome to Minor Community School
Minor Community School is committed to developing life-long learners and critical thinkers, who have the tools to become productive citizens in a global society.
Dear Minor Community School Parents,
Thankfully, we are now able to provide an opportunity for our faculty and staff to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
In order to make this process run as quickly and efficiently as possible, we have worked with UAB to set up mass vaccination days. However, this will require our educators to leave campus at various times.
Therefore, all Minor Community School students will transition to remote learning on March 15th, April 5th and April 6. These days will allow our employees to get their first and second doses. We have also built in time to allow them to recover from any symptoms they experience as a result of the shots.
We deeply appreciate your partnership. We understand that remote learning places a burden on families. However, this is the first step in returning our school to normal. I ask for your continued support and patience.
We will provide more information about class assignments prior to the remote learning days.
If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 205-379-4800.
