PAC-Attack on Childhood Cancer
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and McAdory Elementary students joined the PAC to show their support. Our overall total for McAdory Elementary School is $3730 for Childhood cancer!

MES Future World Changers
The administration and counselors at MES work hard to promote positive behavior at school with the purpose of helping students develop good character that will lead to success, now and in the future.

MES Science Olympiad
The McAdory Elementary Science Olympiad Team took first place in the Jefferson County Tournament on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Irondale Middle School.

Notice of JEFCOED Special Called and Committee Board Meetings
The Jefferson County Board of Education will have a Special Called Board meeting on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the board’s office 2100 18th Street South, Birmingham, Alabama. The Jefferson County Board of Education will meet for our regular Committee Meeting immediately following the Special Called meeting.

Date and venue set for JEFCOED’s Exceptional Prom
The Jefferson County School District is proud to announce that its annual Exceptional Prom will be held on Thursday, May 19th at the Finley Center in Hoover. It will be from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

JEFCOED Increases Pay for Subs
The Jefferson County Board of Education has approved new pay rates for several categories of substitutes. The changes were voted on during Thursday’s meeting and will take effect immediately.
