ACAP State Assessment Practice
The link below will help you understand the ACAP assessment that will be given to grades 2-8 in the Spring. This is a new assessment for the state of Alabama. There are a lot of tools that will be utilized. Please start having these conversations with your child. They will need to be familiar with the format. After having conversations about the assessment, please have them practice the test. They can practice their grade level or other grade levels. The link for the practice test is in blue on page one of the link.
Calling all LEGO builders!
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science will be displaying The Art of the Brick featuring artwork by Nathan Sawaya and they are looking for new original LEGO artwork from young builders. If you or someone you know loves to build, check out the contest and grab an entry form at the museum's website.
Box Tops for Education App is Here!
Box Tops for Education has recently released an app that allows you to scan your receipts instead of clipping those Box Tops to send to school. You can learn more about the app at www.boxtops4education.com. Once you download the app and scan your receipts you can see your contribution in real-time! The app is available for iPhone and Android.
