Data Collection for School Meal Programs

JEFCOED is required by federal regulations to collect race and ethnicity data to determine how effective school meal programs are in reaching potentially eligible students. Providing this data is voluntary and responses are kept confidential. Responses also have no effect on a student's eligibility for meal programs.
