The Center Point High School cheerleaders participated in the Jefferson County Cheer Exhibition held at Clay-Chalkville High School on November 5, 2022.

Both the Junior Varsity and the Varsity teams competed in the Game Day Division. The Varsity team placed third in the Small Team Game Day Division.

On Thursday, November 10, 2022, our competition team competed in the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Central Region 6A Division cheer competition held at the Bill Harris Arena in Birmingham. There were 106 teams competing from all over the Central region in Divisions 1A-7A, middle school and junior varsity. Our team qualified to compete in the state competition on December 5-6, 2022, at the Bill Harris Arena. CPHS has only competed three times at the regional level and this is the first time we have achieved the qualifying score to compete at the state level. Job well done by all those that participated!
