• Sample Schedule for September

    Please note that this is just an example.  Academic subject areas (math, reading, science, social studies) will be taught between the hours of 9:00-11:00 as well as 12:30-2:30 for all elementary grades.  These lessons will be live and access links will be shared.  Our resource classes (music, technology and library) may be live or recorded sessions.  At a minimum, students will be asked to participate in two hours of live instruction.  Lessons will also be recorded so that you can watch them at your convenience if you cannot join the live sessions.   



    Sample Daily Schedule

     

    Morning Classes

     

    9:00-9:30 Whole Group Reading

    9:30 - 10:00 Small Group Reading Session One

    10:00 – 10:30 Small Group Reading Session Two

    10:30 – 11:00 Small Group Reading Session Three

    Your child will be assigned to one of the 30 minute small group reading sessions.

     

    Afternoon Classes

     

    12:30-1:00 Whole Group Math

    1:00- 1:30 Small Group Math Session One 

    1:30 – 2:00 Small Group Math Session Two

    2:00 - 2:30 Small Group Math Session Three

    Your child will be assigned to one of the 30 minute small group math sessions.

     

     Your teachers will be in touch with you regarding individual class schedules.

     

    During the month of September, we would like to have our students come into the building for a small group or a 1:1 time on Thursdays and Fridays.  This time would allow us to assess our children to determine strengths and areas of need.  We will maintain social distancing, wear our masks and clean before and after each student.   Our teachers will be calling you to schedule this time.  We look forward to seeing you soon! 

     

    Device Pick-Up

    Devices and textbooks will be distributed next week.  You will receive further information on these procedures by this Sunday evening.  Please remember everyone is required to complete online registration.  If you have not completed registration or need assistance please contact the school as soon as possible at 205-379-2450.
