Academy of Craft Training Students
We are tremendously proud of our Academy of Craft Training students. These students have the opportunity to learn directly from construction industry professionals in a workplace-style environment, work as interns with local construction companies and receive job offers upon graduation. Congratulations to these fine, hard-working students.

Regions Bank Tour
Our students, with the sun glaring in their eyes, took a photo prior to taking a career readiness tour to Regions Bank. Students learned about banking, and they also had an opportunity to assist customers in the drive-through lane.

CPHS 2023-2024 Varsity Cheerleaders
We are pleased to announce that the 2023-2024 Center Point High School cheerleading team will be competing in the AHSAA Central Region Varsity Co-Ed Cheerleading Competition. Congratulations, team!

Center Point High Blood Drive
Our CPHS Health Science class organized a blood drive. Our student donors gave blood to help the Red Cross maintain a stable blood supply to help save the lives of others. Remember, when you give, others live.

Honor Roll Ceremony
Students were recognized for their Quarter 1 A and AB Honor Roll success. May these students continue having academic success and achieve honor roll status during Quarter 2 - Quarter 4.

University of Alabama Tour
Center Point High School students visited the campus of the University of Alabama. Students received information regarding academic options, campus life, dorm room types, financial aid, and the benefits of attending the University of Alabama. We are elated that our students are more knowledgeable regarding college opportunities.

Dual Enrollment
Students researched dual enrollment programs and gained valuable information regarding opportunities that would enable them to receive college credit while still in high school. They decided to take a US History dual enrollment class during Spring 2024. Moving forward!

Center Point High Tutoring
Center Point High School tutoring is available to students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:10 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. Please click on the QR code to sign up to receive free English, mathematics, reading, homework or ACT tutoring. Always remember, assistance is available.

Parent involvement in a child’s education is important. Research from the National Coalition for Parent Involvement in Education shares that “no matter the income or background, students with involved parents are more likely to have higher grades and test scores, attend school regularly, have better social skills, show improved behavior, and adapt well to school.”
