Theatre Arts Competition
Our CPHS Theatre Arts students received superior ratings at the District Theatre Arts Festival and have advanced to compete at the Walter F. Trumbauer State Theatre Arts Festival at Troy University. We are proud of our students!

The Center Point High School Distributive Education Club of America DECA officers represent an association of marketing leaders that encourages the development of business and leadership skills through academic conferences and competitions. We are tremendously proud of our young leaders.

AHSAA Central Region Cheerleading Competition
We are pleased to announce that the 2022-2023 Center Point High School cheerleading team will be competing in the AHSAA Central Region Cheerleading State Finals.

Christmas Meals for Families
The members of the Prince Hall Masonic York Rite will sponsor Christmas dinners complete with sides, desserts and drinks for Center Point families. Mr. Ron Boone, Center Point High Cares Specialist, will select the families that will receive the Christmas support.

Student Government Association Honors Dr. Brown
The Center Point High School Student Government Association (SGA) presented Dr. Brown with lunch, a card and a gift to show appreciation for his leadership and his relentless concern for the welfare of all students at CPHS. Dr. Brown, we appreciate you!

CPHS Eagles Football Team
The Center Point Eagles advanced to the second round of the AHSAA playoffs. We enjoyed a great football season, and we are tremendously thankful for having community support at our football games on Friday nights. "Wings Up".

Students were afforded a College and Career Fair. Students had opportunities to meet representatives from colleges and universities, the military and industry.

Congratulations to Ms. Sanchez for winning the "One Class at a Time Grant" for $1000. The grant provides an opportunity for Ms. Sanchez to purchase items to help advance her art program. We are elated!

Jefcoed All County Choral Festival
The Center Point High School Chorale was well represented at the 2022 Jefcoed All County Choral Festival at McAdory High School. We are so very proud of the CPHS Chorale.

Student Financial Reality Check
Students at Center Point High School participated in a financial literacy reality check. Students were given a monthly salary and were tasked with making decisions regarding amounts to spend for shelter, a vehicle, food, clothing and for miscellaneous items. A great learning experience for our juniors and seniors.

Principal's Coffee and Tea
We truly appreciated our parents for attending the Principal's Coffee and Tea. Our parents participated in a school walkthrough, captured a glimpse of teaching and learning, and developed quick wins for school enhancement. A big thanks to our devoted parents.

Congratulations to the Lady Eagles Flag Football Team on their spaghetti dinner fundraiser. We appreciate their fundraising efforts and give thanks to all of the supporters.

Free Tutoring is Available
Assistance with reading, math, ACT prep, and homework is available from 3:10 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please sign up to receive free evening academic assistance at CPHS. -
Center Point High Honor Program
Center Point High School will recognize students in grades 9-12 who have earned honor roll status, have perfect attendance, have benchmarked on the ACT or the PreACT, and students who have scored silver, gold, or platinum on the ACT WorkKeys assessment on Friday, January 20, 2023.
