Students have bi-weekly whole group guidance lessons on a variety of topics.  School counselors teach preventative lessons in the areas of social-emotional learning, academics, and careers. Data is gathered from needs assessments completed by teachers and 4th and 5th grade students to help plan the guidance curriculum. Frequent topics are social skills, study skills, conflict resolution, identifying and understanding emotions, bullying, personal safety, and career choices.

Individual and small group counseling is conducted as needed.
