Dr. Christi Butler

As a child, I knew that I was destined to be an educator.  My father is a retired high school principal and college professor and my mother is a retired fourth-grade teacher.  I also have two older sisters who are teachers.  

I am entering my 26th year as an educator.  During my career, I have served as a first-grade teacher, 2nd-grade teacher, Reading Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal.  I have worked in the Opelika City Schools (6 years), Tuscaloosa City Schools (2 years), and Jefferson County Schools (17 years). 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family/friends and traveling.
