  • Dear Gardendale High School Parents,

Thankfully, we are now able to provide an opportunity for our faculty and staff to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

In order to make this process run as quickly and efficiently as possible, we have worked with UAB to set up mass vaccination days.  However, this will require our educators to leave campus at various times.

Therefore, all Gardendale High School students will transition to remote learning for March 15, 2021, April 5, 2021, and April 6, 2021.

These days will allow our employees to get their first and second doses.  We have also built-in time to allow them to recover from any symptoms they experience as a result of the shots.

We deeply appreciate your partnership.  We understand that remote learning places a burden on families.  However, this is the first step in returning our school to normal.  I ask for your continued support and patience.

We will provide more information about class assignments prior to the remote learning days.

Should you have any questions, please contact the office.

  • Herff Jones has graciously extended our deadline to order yearbooks and they also have made it easier and you can order directly from Herff Jones with a credit card through the link that is provided below. Just follow the prompts and our school's order job number is 16756.

If you have already ordered a yearbook through the school, no other action is required. If you still wish to pay by cash or check, you may still stop by the school and pay that way too.

It has been extended through March 27th.
