  • Exam Schedule for 1st Semester

    Exam Schedule for 1st Semester Dec. 12--Exam exemption forms distributed during lunch, returned by the end of the day on Dec. 16th Dec. 13--Christmas Visions Program(2nd period), Senior Luncheon Dec. 16--Exemption forms due outside of the guidance office Dec. 18--Exams: 2, 4 (regular schedule) Dec. 19--Exams: 1, 3 (regular schedule, students may bring a note to leave after exams) Dec. 20--Exams: 5, makeup (schedule will be 5, 2, 3, 4, 1-- students may bring a note to leave after exams) Phone checkouts are not permitted during Exam week.

  • Iambic Pentameter echos in the Library

    Theater students spent the afternoon exploring Iambic Pentameter from Shakespeare in the Gardendale High School Library. The theater students are beginning to prepare for the upcoming performance Almost, Maine, opening November 25th. Stay tuned for information about the upcoming performance.

  • Gardendale High School's Report Card

    Exciting news!!!! The Alabama State Department of Education recently released a letter grade for all public schools in Alabama. This year, we are proud to announce that our school district received a grade of B - 81.3! We want to take this moment to celebrate the success of our school district and our school with you! Gardendale High School received an 82 on their individual report card, which is included on the back side of this page. Our students’ attendance is crucial to our success, so we continue to ask for your assistance in getting your child to school every day.

  • Gardendale Cosmetology Department Against Domestic Violence

    Gardendale Cosmetology Department students have been collecting purses to donate to women in some of the local women's shelters across the Birmingham Area.

  • ACT BOOTCAMP

    Live & On-Campus! Alabama College Prep Work to master the ACT with Alabama College Prep! January 25, 2020 and February 22, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to Noon Each room of 25 students will have 2 trainers from Alabama College Prep tutoring and providing guidance for the ACT. Only $85 for both days! PAYMENT IS DUE BY December 6, 2019

Announcements

  • THe GHS Band's Winter Concert will be this Monday, December 9th in the GHS Auditorium. This will include performances by our Jazz Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and the full combined group on the songs for Christmas Visions that next Friday. THe concert starts at 7PM with Jazz Band doing some non-holiday music a little before hand.
