Chalkville Elementary School is committed to teaching and learning for all. The vision of Chalkville Elementary School is to be characterized by the use of best practices resulting in effectively providing for the diverse needs of all learners.
The Alabama Literacy Act was established to implement steps to improve the reading proficiency of public school kindergarten to 3rd grade students and ensure that those students are able to read at or above grade level by the end of the 3rd grade. Please click here to learn more.
Congratulations to our 5th Grade Scholars who were recognized on October 24th at a ceremony at Clay Chalkville High School. This is a BIG accomplishment for our students. This year's scholars were: Ja'Yamorin Aguillard, Terrance Atkins, Morgan Beard, Juslynn Dancy, Amiya Hill, Luriel McEntyre, Murdoch McRae, Deshawn Minter, Matthew Pepper, Evelyn Stanfield, and Xavier Teasley.

Before/After School CareBefore and after school care registration for the 20-21 school year is now open. Please fill out and mail in your registration packet and fees today! We are planning to open without restrictions. If we have a limit on the number of students we can take, we will take them in order of registration paperwork and fees paid. Pre-K Drawing RegistrationWe are proud to announce the addition of a First Class Pre-K classroom to our school. Children that live in the Chalkville zone and are 4 years old on or before September 1st 2020 are eligible for this classroom.In order to apply for the random drawing for this program, please do the following.
