Mr. Adrian Pryor

I am a native of Athens, Alabama and a 1996 graduate of Athens High School.  After graduating from high school, I entered Birmingham- Southern College on an athletic scholarship and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Secondary Education for Language Arts.  I also attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham and received a Masters’ Degree and an Ed. S. in Instructional Leadership and am a current doctoral candidate in Instructional Leadership.

Currently, I have over 10 years of experience in education. I taught English at Center Point High School and served as boys' basketball coach.  I also taught English at Hueytown High School and served as the Boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach, as well as a bus driver. In 2019, I left the classroom to become assistant principal at McAdory Middle School.  I remained assistant principal at MMS until 2022. I then left McAdory to assume the role of principal here at Rudd Middle School. 

I am married to Tramine Pryor and we have 3 children, Jalyn, Lyric, and Parker.
