Welcome to Snow Rogers Elementary School

Welcome to Snow Rogers where we do WHATEVER IT TAKES to ensure our students achieve at their highest posssible level.  Our goal is to educate for LIFE.  We have an excellent staff who is dedicated, students who love to learn and parents who support our efforts in every way possible.  Additionally, we are in a community that values the importance of education as evidenced by the resources and support provided by our city council, churches and business leaders.  We also have a strong and very active PTA that we are very proud of.

Snow Rogers is an Alabama Reading Initiative (ARI) school and an Alabama Math, Science and Technology Initiave (AMSTI) school.  Students at Snow Rogers are provided Differentiated Instruction based on each student's individual needs whether that be remediation or acceleration.  Our students also participate in an Accelerated Reading Incentive Program and this year our school-wide goal is to read 3,000 books - no small feat for a small school.  We are proud of our students' overall scores on high stakes tests, but continue to work  to achieve even higher scores.
