Our Mission

 As a continuously growing professional learning community, the administration, faculty, and staff of Corner School are committed to creating student-centered classrooms where learning and achievement are our primary goals.  Our staff is collectively committed to:

·        Promoting academic literacy across the content areas and elective courses as the foundation of an effective instructional program

·        Providing a rigorous and innovative curriculum in each subject taught with differentiated instruction all classes to meet the needs of each student.

·        Vertically aligning the curricula at all levels of the school as well as within the feeder pattern in order to ensure a quality instructional program.

·        Utilizing formative and summative assessment data to drive instruction, intervention, and remediation.

·        Protecting the sanctity of instructional time with our students.

·        Providing quality on-going professional development to assist us in modeling life-long learning for our students.

·        Building effective partnerships with families and the community to more effectively enhance learning opportunities for our students.

·        Providing assistance to students and their families in the creation of a personalized education plan that incorporates academics, the arts, athletics, counseling, technology, and career technical training.
