 Thesbian Society

Fall 2010 Play

  To Kill a Mockingbird

Please join us on Thursday, October 7 or Saturday, October 9 at 7 p.m. for the presentation of our fall play, To Kill a Mockingbird.  Admission is $5.00 for each person.  This classic piece of American literature is brought to life by our students on the stage; the play, based on the novel by Alabama’s Harper Lee, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary since publication, tells of a young girl growing up in the midst of conflict and turmoil in a small, southern Alabama town during the 1930’s.

A cast of some 30 of our students will bring this story to life on the stage for your entertainment on these two nights.  Students are encouraged to attend.  It is particularly appropriate for freshmen since they read the novel in their English class this year, for students of history, and for those who just appreciate a good story.

For information concerning the Thesbian Society please see Mr. MacIntosh.
