Courses Offered
A list of classes offered is below including a brief description. Due to enrollment all classes may not be offered during each term. Please inquire with a counselor to see if the class you are interested in is available. For a more detailed description, please see the Course Description Booklet available in the counseling center.

Business Technology Essentials Help students master basic skills in the areas of word processing, database management, spreadsheet, presentation, Internet, and e-mail.
Interactive Multimedia Design For students who are interested in pursuing a career in Graphic Design, Web Page Design or Desktop Publishing. Open to grades 11-12. Prerequisite - Business Tech. Essentials and Integrated Computer Technology.
Integrated Computer Technology For students who are interested in pursuing a career in Administration, Business, Accounting, or Technology. Open to grades 10-12. Prerequisite Business Tech. Essentials.
Personal Business Finance Focuses on financial planning, financial services, budgeting, investments, insurance protection, credit management, consumer purchases, and consumer rights and responsibilities. Open to grades 11-12.
Business Marketing and Essentials For students who are interested in pursuing a career in Marketing or Sales. Open to grades 10-12.
Entrepreneurship and Management For students who are interested in pursuing a career in Management or Human Resources. Open to grades 11-12. Business Marketing Essentials is suggested as a prerequisite.
Marketing Dynamics For students who are interested in pursuing a career in Economics, Marketing, or Sales. Open to grades 11-12.

Cooperative Education Program

It is a work based experience. It includes supervised on the job training. Students attend class part of the day and then leave school early in order to work in an approved work setting. Students must work at least 270 hours per term in order to receive one credit. Requirements include completion of the Co-op application, 2.0 or higher GPA, passed all sections of the AHSGE, good attendance and citizenship, and permission of instructor and administration. Prerequisite is Coordinated Studies and a career/technical class that relates to career objective. Open to 12th grade only.

Coordinated Studies Students will evaluate and develop a career plan and prepare a career portfolio. Open to grades 10-12.
Coordinated Studies Seminar/Cooperative Education Required for students to continue in the co-op education work-based experience. Grade 12 only.
