Courses Offered
A list of classes offered is below including a brief description. Due to enrollment all classes may not be offered during each term. Please inquire with a counselor to see if the class you are interested in is available. For a more detailed description, please see the Course Description Booklet available in the counseling center.
| Concert Band |
Band is open to all students in Grades 9-12 who can demonstrate proficiency on woodwind, brass, or percussion instruments. This course is designed to expand students' knowledge and technical skills in instrumental music. The band also participates at certain athletic and community affairs. Prerequisite: Beginning and Intermediate Band at the middle school level. A fee is required. |
| Symphonic Band |
Band is open to all students in Grades 10-12 who can demonstrate and advanced skill level of proficiency beyond the Concert Band class. This course is designed to expand the student's knowledge and technical skills in instrumental music. The Symphonic Band also participates at certain athletic and community affairs. A fee is required. |
| Concert Choir |
This mixed choir is open to all students, male and female. No audition is required. This choir will sing a wide variety of music and will participate in concerts, competitions and community performances. A choral lab and robe maintenance fee is required. |
