Reading Initiative
Snow Rogers Elementary became an Alabama Reading Initiative Literacy Demonstration site in 2001. ARI is a statewide movement anchored by educational leaders from across the state. This movement is dedicated to significantly improving reading instruction and ultimately achieving 100% literacy among public school students. It defines students as "literate" when they can read fluently and with comprehension. Snow Rogers has increased their reading SAT scores and has scored in the 80th percentile on the Alabama Direct Assessment of Writing for fifth grade. |
