Oak Grove High School's Mission Statement
The mission of Oak Grove High School is to incorporate a shared responsibility between the school and the community to provide the best learning environment for all students with a commitment to continuous improvement and to produce confident, well rounded, lifelong learners ready to be successful in a complex, culturally-diverse society.
Directions to OGHS from Birmingham
From I-59 South toward Tuscaloosa.
Take Exit 115- Allison Bonnett Memorial Drive.
Go right onto Allison Bonnett Memorial Drive. It is approximately 18 miles from
this point to the new school site. You will stay on the same road, however,
this road will change names several times.
Allison Bonnett Memorial Drive will
carry you through Hueytown. The road will change names to Warrior River Road
and will take you through the community of Concord. At this time, the name of
the road will change again to Lock 17 Road. This road will take you through
the Rock Creek Community and into the Oak Grove Community and past the old school
site that is now Oak Grove Memorial Park. At this point, you will see Randy's
convenience store on the right hand side of the road. The road will fork
and you will take the right fork onto Camp Oliver Road. Go approximately 1 mile
to a 3 way stop. Proceed directly across the 3 way stop and travel .4 mile.
The high school is located on the right. Welcome to OGHS!
