DIBELS is an assessment used at Oak Grove in

Kindergarten through Third Grade.

 

DIBELS stands for…

Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills

 

DIBELS tests are given individually to students.  There are different sub-tests given to each grade.

 

DIBELS is given three times a year for Benchmark scores:  August, January, and May.  Our school also gives a “Mock” DIBELS in October and March to check student progress.

Based on your child’s DIBELS score, the classroom teacher and reading coach will make instructional  decisions.
