Gresham Elementary's School Resource Officer:
 Deputy Duane Corder

Deputy Corder attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. He graduated in December 1993 with a B.S. in Forensic Science with a minor in Psychology.

Deputy Corder has worked in law enforcement since 1996. He was a Police Officer at the Bessemer Police Department for five years. In June 2001, he started working for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Corder was assigned to the Department’s School Resource Division (SRO) in December 2004. He has gained his certifications to instruct the G.R.E.AT. and Too Good for Drugs curriculums.
