What's Happening at GES?
We've begun moving into our newly renovated facilities. Not all renovations are complete, so we'll continue to move in stages throughout the rest of the school year.
Do you have a 4-year old? If you have a child who will be four years old by September 1, 2008, call the CEZ office at 379-5373 to get more information on a possible new program. We will be evaluating the need to begin a class just for them here at Gresham Elementary School.
Summer Program: If you are interested in having your child participate in our Summer Program, please call the CEZ office at 379-5373.
Our PTO has successfully sponsored this year's Batter Up and Accelerated Math programs. Over $5,000 was donated to the school to allow children to participate in these programs that help improve students' math skills and allow them to expand their math knowledge.
Don't forget!! You can help our school when you shop for groceries. We are still collecting green Bruno's receipts, and Publix will make a donation to our school when you use a Publix Partnership card as you make your purchase. Partnership cards are available in the main office if you have not yet received one or need an extra.
We are raising money for our school through a website called www.goodsearch.com. Our school gets paid for every search performed using this site. Please choose Gresham Elementary as your school of choice and search away!

Our Mission
Gresham Elementary is a kindergarten through 5th grade school comprised of approximately 320 students and 40 faculty members. Mrs. Frances Finney is our Principal. After 5th grade, our students attend Irondale Middle School and Shades Valley High School. Our school, a part of the Jefferson County school system, is located on the campus of the former Gresham Middle School.
