(BBSST)
General Description:
* The BBSST is a designated school-based
committee designed to meet the needs
of general education at-risk students.
* It is composed of regular education teachers, administratiors,
counselors, and others as needed.
* The BBSST addresses academic, discipline, drop-out and
behavioral student challenges.
* It provides immediate support when confronting classroom
concerns that need to be
addressed in a timely manner.
* The BBSST is the required
first step in identifying students for referrals for special
education testing.
