Warrior Elementary is a K-5 school in the Jefferson County School System. We are located north of Birmingham,in Warrior, Alabama.

Warrior School celebrated its first graduating class in 1924. Many descendants of the first graduating class have attended Warrior School and many graduates have returned to serve as members of the faculty and staff. Over the years, Warrior has housed all of its students, first grade through twelfth grade, in several different buildings.  We are now located on the main campus focusing our attentions on grades Kindergarten through Five.

Mission Statement

At Warrior Elementary School, we strive to prepare our students to become knowledgeable and productive life-long learners in a rapidly changing society.

  • All students can learn when provided a positive environment with appropriate opportunities.

  • All students have the right to be treated with respect, in a fair and equitable manner according to their individual needs.

  • A disciplined and structured environment promotes collaborative learning and character development.
