  • McAdory Faculty and Staff would like to thank our PTSA for breakfast this week, and for the lovely luncheon yesterday. 
  • A special congratulations goes out to the 1st and 2nd place winners of the Economic Challenge (Titan Competition) held at Birmingham Southern.  2nd Place winners are:  Brandi Russell, Albert Wallace, Kamecia Bruce and Diamond Lima.  First place winners are Kamerin Harris, Amber Terry, Candis Thomas and Taylor Tressillian.  The winners will split $3,800 in prize money!!! 
  • FROM THE LUNCHROOM:   There is NO CHARGING in the lunchroom!  This message brought to you by your lunchroom and Child Nutrition. 
  • Saturday School This Saturday in the Lunchroom 7:55 AM 
  • There was a radio lost by McAdory Fire Dept.   If found, please return to the High School Office. 
  • There will be an FCCLA meeting Friday, May 9 at 7:30 AM in Ms. Dallam's Room.  Plans for the end of the year trip will be discussed.  Breakfast will be served. 
  • All Middle School Boys going out for middle school spring training should report to the locker room downstairs immediately following school. 
  • Spring football game 6 PM on Friday at McAdory. 
  • Class Day Friday May 9th.  Each senior may have 3 tickets.  YOU MUST PICK UP TICKETS BY 3RD BLOCK TODAY.  Each person 5+ must have their own ticket.  
  • Seniors will pick up their Cap and Gown immediately following Class Day in the foyer of the Competition Gym.  You must bring $75.00. 
  • Varsity and JV Volleyball:  Remember the banquet is TONIGHT at 6 pm at the Baptist Church of McAdory 
  • ALL library books are due in TODAY because we will begin inventory this week.  Thanks. 
  • This is teacher appreciation week, so on behalf of the student body, we want to say “Thank you” to our teachers.  
  • Yearbook turned in to high school office from Redding Christian School in California.  If this is yours, please come to the high school office WITH A PASS and pick it up. 
  • The baseball Bar B Que will be held May 10th.  
  • May 13th, Orientation for next year’s 6th graders from McAdory Elementary and Greenwood Elementary. 
  • Seniors:  You may pay for Senior Banquet in Ms. Snider’s Room 105.  Cost is $25.00 
  • Softball tryouts will be on Monday May 12th after school on the upper field.  Tryouts are open to girls in grades 6 – 11. 
  • Making McAdory Great Program is Wednesday, May 14th in the Competition Gym. 
  • McAdory High School 2008 Baseball banquet is May 12, 6:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. 
  • The Prom Committee would like to announce next year’s prom date: April 4, 2009 from 7 – 11 pm at Rosewood Hall in SoHo.   
  • Middle School teachers and students remember to bring plastic bottle tops for the SGA Earth Day project.  Teachers, please announce the details you received last week to your classes.  For more details, see SGA members or Ms. Polk.
