I am Paige Sprayberry and I am one of the speech therapists here at Chalkville. My room is located in the front part of the 1st Grade Building. I work with students from 3 years old through the 5th grade.
I work with students that have speech problems that include articulation, fluency, and voice disorders. I also work with students that have expressive and receptive language disorders.
In order for a student to receive these services, they must meet guidelines set forth by the State Department of Education. Students are referred and then evaluated here at the school to determine if they meet these guidelines.
I work with students in my therapy room and/or in their classroom from one to three times a week depending on their specific need. Progress reports go home every 9 weeks with report cards.
