My name is Michelle McAliley, and this is my first year at Chalkville. I graduated from Troy University in May 2005, and taught at George W. Long Elementary in Dale County last year. It was a small school and it was a big change coming here. I worked with students ranging from the 5th to the 8th grade. I moved to Birmingham in July after I married my husband Dan. So far Chalkville has been great, and so have your children.
I have high expectations and want all of my students to succeed in everything (inside and outside of school). If you have any questions or concerns, my email is at the top of the page; you can call and leave a message at school, or send a note with your child.
My job is to help your child succeed, and together we can do that.
