The Jefcoed IT Department offers support to just over 60 sites in the Jefferson County area. We are responsible for computer and telephone installation and repair. We always strive to provide unparalelled support and services.

Provide Internet Service to the Class Room.

Provide Internet Filtering for all computers with a State approved and CIPA complaint filter.

Provide support for Distance Learning Labs

Email provided for all Jefcoed employees.

Provide support for spam and virus protection for all email services.

Provide Virus protection for all desktop computers in the system. (Approximately 6200 + computers)

Provide support and maintain approximately 50 central office servers and 57 remote site servers.

Supported platforms include Novell, Microsoft, Lunix and Sun Solaris.

Support for STI district and local office accounting system for student data.

Provide student data for attendance and accounting on a district level.

Provide network wiring to the schools which include cat 5, cat 6 and fiber optic cable.

Provide networking support for Cisco switches and routers.

Provide support for phones, phone systems, wiring and installation which include digital, analog, and IP systems
