Rick Roper's Computer Networking and Repair classes at Minor High School are getting computers ready for other Career Tech teachers around the County. This includes: cleaning out all the dust, totally reloading all the software and anti-virus, and double checking that everything works properly on the computer.
One of my students - Jessie Carter, won the Torch Competition for Computers. This is the 2nd year in a row for him and the 5th year in a row for one of my students. Rick Roper teaches Computer Networking and Repair at Minor High School.
Shades Valley Technical Academy students Devoris Jones and Roger Hill placed 2nd and 3rd at the Skills USA District 3 competition for Automotive Technology. They will Advance to the State competition on April 27th and 28th at the BJCC.
Hunter Thomas won first place and Mason Absher won second place in Paint and Body competition at the Torch which was hosted by Bevill State. They are Corner High Schools students that are in Roy Adkins Collision Repair program at Gardendale HS.

Minor HIgh School automotive students, participated in the Ford Motor Company and AAA contest held on April 14th at Barber Motor Sports Park. Two students received recognition of outstanding ability of its Automotive Diagnostics Team work. Students names are: Charlies Burrell Roman Sanches Instructor: Phillip Brown
