LAW ENFORCEMENT ACCESS TO PUBLIC SCHOOLS PROPOSED JEFFERSON COUNTY POLICY
In accordance with § 290-3-1 -. 01 (1)(b) of the Alabama Administrative Code, it shall be the policy of the Jefferson County Board of Education to permit law enforcement agencies to make periodic visits to Jefferson County schools for the purpose of detecting the presence of illegal drugs. Such visits shall be unannounced except to the superintendent of schools and principals of the individual schools that are subject to visitation.
