THE SCHOOL DAY

Because it is the belief of the Board that the schools exist solely for the benefit of the student as learner, the basic school day shall adhere to the state legislative requirements. However, the Board, being cognitive of variances from one community to another, establishes a flexibility in setting the hours of the school day from one school to another.
