EXECUTIVE SESSIONS

Because Board members are publicly elected officials, the Board shall not exclude the citizens they serve from any regularly scheduled or specially called Board meeting.

The only exception to this policy shall be that when the character or good name of a person is involved, the discussion shall be conducted in an executive session of the Board from which the public may be excluded (CODE OF ALABAMA, 13A-14-2).
