Minor High's Wanda Henry wins One Class at a Time grant from CBS Television Station

The December winner for CBS's One Class at a Time grant program is cosmetology teacher Wanda Henry from

Minor High School.  She will use her money to develop a first-aid model for her students.  Her reasoning was that many of our local communities have been hit by natural disasters recently and students need to be award of a first aid kit to have on hand.  It will include such things as flashlights, batteries, water and other materials necessary for survival for a short time without power and water.  Ken Lass of CBS is presenting the $1,000 check.
