JefCoEd BOE honors two Minor High students for national awards in cosmetology

JefCoEd Board of Education honored two national fourth place cosmetology winners in the SkillsUSA and who are also state and district officers of the SkillsUSA Club in Alabama.  They are Ashley Knight a senior and advanced student in the top 10% of her Minor High School class, second from left, and Destiny Gano, a junior at Minor High School, center, is state parliamentarian and ranks seventh in her graduating class of 273.  Pictured are from left, principal David Pike, Ashley, Destiny, teacher/advisor Wanda Henry, and assistant principal Walter Hicks.
