JefCoEd's  mentoring program which helps brand new teachers learn the ropes, utilize tips from veteran teachers, and the antidote to avoid being overwhelmed that first year in the classroom is a smashing success.  Pinson Elementary second-grade teachers who will be getting that special daily attention and and weekly monitoring at Pinson are from left, Laura Dean,  Leslie Chatta, the mentor in blue, Khristina Herald, Cierra Haslam.  Mentoring is funded through through a grant administered through the Jefferson County School Foundation.
