279 fifth graders from 11 area eastern and northern schools honored as fifth grade scholars.

Bryan Elementary had 34 fifth grade scholars honored in the 21st annual Fifth Grade Scholars program.  Pictured are from left, Josh Burns, Kailey Boyd, and Tyler Batchelor.  The academic achievement is for high scores on the SAT test which they took as fourth graders, but JefCoEd honors them the following fall as fifth grade scholars.
